Producing up to 2900 lumens through a focused 10° beam, this technical dive light is ideal for wreck diving, low-visibility environments, night diving, overhead exploration, and other situations where a narrow, penetrating beam is more useful than wide flood illumination.

Powerful 2900-lumen output

The TL2900P offers four brightness levels:

• 290 lumens
• 725 lumens
• 1450 lumens
• 2900 lumens

This allows you to adjust light output to match the dive.

Use full power when you need maximum penetration, then step down the brightness to extend runtime during longer dives or when less illumination is required.

Focused 10° technical beam

BigBlue’s TL series is designed around concentrated narrow-beam illumination.

The TL2900P directs its output through a 10° beam, helping the light punch through dark water while reducing the broad backscatter often associated with wider beams in poor visibility.

That concentrated beam also makes the light effective for underwater communication and signaling between dive-team members.

Four power levels for flexible runtime

Maximum output is not always necessary.

BigBlue gives the TL2900P four selectable power settings, allowing you to balance illumination and battery life throughout the dive.

Approximate runtimes are:

• 2900 lumens: 1.5 hours
• 1450 lumens: 3 hours
• 725 lumens: 6 hours
• 290 lumens: 15 hours

This makes the light adaptable to everything from short high-output dives to extended operations at reduced power.

Rechargeable 32650 lithium-ion battery

The TL2900P uses BigBlue’s rechargeable 32650 lithium-ion battery.

The rechargeable design eliminates the need to continually purchase disposable batteries and provides enough capacity to support the light’s high output.

BigBlue recommends approximately seven to eight hours of charging time for the BATCELL32650 battery.

Integrated battery-level indicator

A color-coded battery indicator is built into the push-button control.

This provides a quick visual reference to remaining battery capacity, helping you assess power before and during the dive.

For technical divers in particular, knowing the approximate battery state before entering the water is a valuable part of dive preparation.

Rugged anodized-aluminum construction

The TL2900P is built from anodized aluminum alloy for strength and corrosion resistance.

Its compact cylindrical body is designed to withstand repeated underwater use while remaining relatively easy to carry and manage.

BigBlue’s current U.S. specifications list the light at approximately 50mm in diameter and 130mm long.

Hands-free options included

Unlike many compact handheld lights, the TL2900P package includes both a Goodman glove and a lantern handle.

The Goodman-style mount allows the light to remain positioned over the back of the hand while leaving your fingers available for operating other equipment.

That makes the TL2900P especially useful for technical divers, wreck divers, and anyone who prefers hands-free light management.

Cool-white 6500K illumination

The three-LED light head produces a 6500K cool-white beam.

This bright white output provides strong contrast and visibility underwater, helping illuminate structures, lines, gauges, and other important details.

BigBlue’s current U.S. listing rates the TL2900P to a tested maximum depth of 100 meters / 330 feet.
