The BigBlue VTL2900P combines the capabilities of a wide-beam video light and a focused technical-style spot light in one compact package.

With the push of a button, divers can move from a broad 2900-lumen 100° beam to a concentrated 1000-lumen 8° beam, making the VTL2900P useful across a wide range of diving applications.

Use the wide beam for underwater photography, video, general-area illumination, and close-range exploration. Switch to the narrow beam when you need a focused light for signaling, penetrating dark water, navigating a wreck, or examining a specific area.

2900-lumen wide beam

The wide-beam mode delivers up to 2900 lumens through a broad 100° beam angle.

This even spread of light is well suited for:

The broad beam helps illuminate a larger area without the concentrated hotspot produced by a traditional narrow-beam technical light.

Four adjustable power levels

The VTL2900P provides four brightness levels, allowing divers to balance output with battery life.

BigBlue rates the light for approximately:

• 1.5 hours on Level IV
• 3 hours on Level III
• 6 hours on Level II
• 15 hours on Level I

Reducing output when full brightness is not necessary helps conserve battery power for longer dives and multiple-dive days.

100-lumen red-light mode

The VTL2900P also includes a 100-lumen red-light mode.

Red light is particularly useful for staging underwater photography and video because it can help illuminate controls and subjects without producing the same bright white-light effect as the primary beam.

Rechargeable 32650 lithium-ion battery

The light is powered by BigBlue’s rechargeable BATCELL32650 lithium-ion battery.

BigBlue recommends approximately 7–8 hours of charging time for this battery.

The rechargeable design makes the VTL2900P practical for frequent diving without the expense and waste associated with disposable batteries.

Built for demanding dive environments

The VTL2900P uses a durable anodized aluminum-alloy housing designed for repeated marine use.

Goodman glove included

The package includes a Goodman glove, allowing the light to sit securely over the back of the diver’s hand.
