Ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? Then Try SCUBA with Tri-City SCUBA! Minimum age is 8 and must be medically fit to dive.
If you’ve always been curious about scuba diving but aren’t ready to commit to a full certification course, our Try Scuba program is the perfect introduction.
This entry-level experience allows you to explore the underwater world in a safe, controlled environment under the direct supervision of our experienced instructors.

Course Overview
- Our Try SCUBA with Tri-City SCUBA program begins with a brief orientation where you’ll learn the basic safety guidelines and get familiar with the scuba equipment.
- Once you’re comfortable, we’ll take you to a confined water setting, such as a swimming pool or a shallow, calm body of water, where you’ll take your first breaths underwater and practice essential skills.
- Throughout the session, our instructors will be by your side, ensuring your safety and comfort as you experience the magic of scuba diving.
- Ages 10 and over that sign up for an open water class within 30 days of completing a Try Scuba you can apply the amount you paid for Try Scuba to your Open Water Certification class.
-  Important Registration Information: · If you are not already registered with SSI please go to https://my.divessi.com/register and create a FREE mySSI account. Once registered, we will be able to assign the online training course to your account. · Students have one year from the date of registration to complete their course. In-water training for all programs must be completed within six (6) months of the last academic or in-water training session. · Students enrolled in classes involving in-water training are required to complete a medical questionnaire and may be required to obtain a physicianâs authorization prior to any in-water training. We have a brand new enhanced Open Water option where this winter, you can sign up for Open Water now and take your Open Water e-learning, classroom, and confined water and become a referral diver and be able to dive in our pool until it gets warm and then complete your Open Water dives and become Open Water Certified. Dive now in a pool and practice skills and build confidence and skills before Open Water Dives. Details below(our first class is 2/7-2/8/ 2026.
