Description
Discover pristine dive sites that cannot be reached from shore and experience the excitement of liveaboard diving. Become an SSI boat diver. You will learn all the skills and techniques you need to dive safely and comfortably from a variety of boats, including small personal craft and liveaboards.
Upon completion, you will earn your SSI Boat Diving Specialty certification.
You will also get to practice your diving skills during open water training dives. All of which will ensure you can enjoy diving with confidence and get the most out of every dive. Upon completion of this program, you will earn your SSI Boat Diving specialty certification. Get started online today!
Required equipment: Basic SCUBA equipment, SMB with spool (Minimum 100’).
Included: Online Boat Diver course, classroom and in-water instruction, certification fees & certification card
Not included: Rental equipment, air or NITROX fills, entrance or charter fees
This class will require the following training components:
1 Online course
1 Classroom session
1 Open Water workup dive (usually done at Lake Phoenix)
2 Actual boat dives (not Lake Phoenix)
Important Registration Information:
- If you are not already registered with SSI please go to https://my.divessi.com/register and create a FREE mySSI account. Once registered, we will be able to assign the online training course to your account.
- Students have one year from the date of registration to complete their course. In-water training for all programs must be completed within six (6) months of the last academic or in-water training session.
- Students enrolled in classes involving in-water training are required to complete a medical questionnaire and may be required to obtain a physicians authorization prior to any in-water training. - Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
