Brockville, Ontario Wreck Diving Adventure

August 12–16, 2026

10 spots available as of 1/7/26

Join Tri City Scuba for an unforgettable freshwater wreck diving adventure in Brockville, Ontario, along the heart of the historic St. Lawrence River. This region is internationally known for its exceptionally preserved shipwrecks, strong underwater visibility, and dynamic river diving that delivers a truly unique experience.

We’ll be diving with the experienced team at Dive Brockville Adventure Centre, whose local knowledge ensures safe, well-run charters to some of the most iconic wrecks in the Thousand Islands region.

Diving Overview

  • 4 days of diving

  • Morning charter departures

  • Nitrox included on all dives

  • Tank rentals available – $50

This is an advanced diver trip. While some wreck depths may be accessible to newer divers, the St. Lawrence River environment involves current, boat traffic, and changing conditions. Divers should be comfortable in moving water, maintain solid buoyancy control, and be confident managing ascents and surface procedures.

Featured Wrecks

During the week, divers will explore a selection of historic St. Lawrence River wrecks, including:

Keystorm – A massive steel freighter built in 1908 that sank in 1912 after striking shoals in heavy fog. The wreck rests on her side and offers dramatic structure, cargo holds, and machinery.
Depth: approximately 20–115 ft

Kinghorn – An exceptionally intact schooner-barge that sank in 1897. Divers can still identify the ship’s wheel, galley stove, and deck fittings.
Depth: approximately 85–95 ft

Robert Gaskin – A wooden cargo barge originally built in the 1860s and lost during a failed salvage attempt. An excellent wreck with accessible structure and historical character.
Depth: approximately 50–70 ft

Lillie Parsons – A 19th-century schooner that sank in heavy weather. Often enjoyed as a drift dive, this wreck blends history with classic river diving conditions.
Depth: approximately 35–100 ft

Henry C. Daryaw – A steel freighter that sank in 1941 and now rests inverted on the river bottom. A more advanced site offering a striking underwater profile.
Depth: approximately 90 ft

Ash Island Barge – A large barge wreck known for its scale and remaining cargo. A rewarding dive for experienced divers who enjoy deeper profiles and river current.
Depth: approximately 50–120+ ft

Boldt Castle Visit

On August 15, the charter will include a visit to Boldt Castle, scheduled between the two dives. This iconic Thousand Islands landmark offers a unique surface-interval experience and a chance to explore one of the region’s most famous historic sites.
